PIC DE CAGIRE

Sporty walk for regular walkers. The walk takes you to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Pyrenees. A fantastic view of the Luchon Pyrenees, the Maladetta (Maudits) which shelters the highest peaks of the Pyrenees (Mont Aneto - 34000m). The summit is overflown by numerous birds of prey including the Bearded Vulture.

Duration: 3 hours to go up and 2 hours to come back down

Access route:
From the tourist information office in Aspet take the direction of Sengouagnet. At the exit of Sengouagnet go up towards Juzet d'Izaut. At the Col de Buret, turn left, then after 20m turn left into the Cagire forest road to the Couage car park.
